Meeting the people of the Tanda department

Elders, women, young people: Isabelle Boblaï Douassoh went out to listen to the people who keep Tanda alive.

Under the trees, in courtyards, on the village square: everywhere, the same scene. Elders take their seats, women from the groups arrive in numbers, young people gather around. Isabelle Boblaï Douassoh has come to listen.

Residents have their say

The microphone is passed around. Everyone sets out their community’s difficulties and hopes. These discussions became the foundation of the BDI movement’s priorities.

Sharing culture

Talking drums, songs and dances: Tanda’s culture set the rhythm of each of these meetings.
